In my role as CEO, I focus on ensuring we're meeting our customers needs while also making sure our shops are running as smoothly as possible. I also enjoy the challenge of trying to improve the culture of Carbo Tech to give employees the most enjoyable work day possible while maintaining a high level of accountability.
My first job was at Carbo Tech sweeping the shops. I moved onto building vaporizers and eventually became a code welder. After deciding to join the Air Force National Guard and graduating from Cyber Systems Operations School, I used that experience to launch my career in the IT world and started my first business a few years later. After dabbling in real estate, retail and the food and beverage businesses, I sold everything to buy the family business from my grandfather.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my amazing wife and two boys (preferably outdoors), playing guitar/leading worship at church, anything that goes fast, skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, golf, and baseball. I also have a newfound enjoyment of fishing.
Musically, I listen to everything under the sun! California Reggae is my go-to with ska and punk being second. Don't be surprised if you hear classical music coming from my office here and there, too.
